Well, I tried to buy a key but s. PayPal messed up again telling me that I can't use my cc because it's used by another account. Yes it is, by my own, the very one I'm trying to use. Urs, do you really need to use this terrible company? I always only have problems with them.
Would even prefer to transfer the money to your bank account in advance ('Vorkasse') instead of dealing with those i. Heck, you'd probably get your money faster if I get on my car and bring it to you personally instead of waiting for PayPal to sort their mess out. Four months on since my last enquiry about the status of v2. How are things going? I'm satisfied with v1 with one major exception - the disappearance of Ai aircraft as the flight progresses. On a flight from Minorca to Manchester yesterday Ai were displayed until I reached Paris.
Thereafter they all disappeared. Very frustrating.
Even the use of a new tool - Air Traffic Manager, available on AvSim's FSX and P3D forums - couldn't keep Ai displayed even with a reduced number of Ai entered. I know this is a SimConnect problem and not EFB. But the sooner we can move to FSUIPC the better.
I have assigned a button on my Saitek throttle quadrant to FSUIPC's Traffic Zapper facility. This works fine with all my other aircraft. However, it doesn't work consistently with Concorde and I can't get to the bottom of the problem. The Ai aircraft is right in front of me, it can be seen in Traffic Explorer in FSX:SP2 and it also shows in Traffic Look - freeware supplied by Pete Dowson. So it definitely exists but pressing the button to remove the aircraft doesn't work. Most of the time I do hear the sound associated with the Zapper command but sometimes I don't.
I can only think something within Concorde is preventing this from working. Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution? It hasn't worked in a very long time. I just got fed up being unable to zap Ai that were in my way so mentioned it to Pete. He's helped a lot this week trying to crack the problem but it persists.
In short, the Ai traffic table used by FSUIPC is not being updated. It starts off okay but soon stops being updated. The one used by Concorde and Electronic Flight Bag is okay. You then try to zap and aircraft in front of you and it doesn't get removed. It's not because zapper isn't working but because the table it uses doesn't contain the same info as what is viewable in FSX. He was going to write to you but even with Concorde in his system he wasn't certain he'd be able to fix the problem. It's a strange 'bug' because when I use SimStarter Pro to launch my Boeing profile it doesn't load the FS Labs DLLs and the Ai zapping works okay.
Even with the Trike running with a Concorde configuration (i.e. FS Labs DLLs running) the problem still exists. Pete put code in to FSUIPC to repopulate the Ai tables but they didn't get populated. I appreciate you don't touch the Ai tables and that nothing has changed in years but it's baffling why it doesn't happen with the Boeing profile. He's away from Friday for 10 days if you want to contact him but he's just started working on FSUIPC for another beta of a well-known sim.
